Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls - Easy & Makes You Look Good :-)

Ground Chuck - 1 lb (for veggies I use the crumbled soy)

Chopped onion - 1 c 

Cabbage - 8 c (about 1.5 lbs) - cut in 1" strips

Water - 1/2 c

Crushed tomatoes - 28 oz

Brown sugar - 1 T

White vinegar - 1T

Salt - 1/2 t

Caraway seeds - 2 t (I always add more)

Granulated garlic - 1 t (I often use more)

In large skillet brown meat and drain grease.  Add the chopped onions and cook for about 3 minutes.  Add cabbage and water and cook for another 5 minutes or until cabbage starts to wilt.  Add the rest of the ingredients, and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer until cabbage is tender - about 30 minutes.  I often let it simmer longer....    serve over rice.  Even better on the 2nd day!  Enjoy!
